Amazon Web Services’ (AWS’s) Global Commerce Division commercializes innovative new cloud service solutions and facilitates the go-to-market and growth strategy for AWS Products.  The Division creates and runs the technologies and processes that drive the monetization of AWS’s global cloud service portfolio.  AWS’s net sales in 2023 were $90.8Bn and are officially expected to eclipse $105.2Bn in 2024.

Develops and drives the strategic vision for AWS’s eCommerce Platform, powering dynamic new business models, pricing and optimization, product customization, and rapid launches of revenue-generating new cloud products and services.  Spearheads the commercialization of transformative AI/ML initiatives and platforms, including Amazon Bedrock, Amazon SageMaker AI, and Amazon Q.

  • Generating $762mm+ in ARR in 2025 (projected) by personally identifying and executing upon opportunities to amplify AWS’s new eCommerce Platform with AI, optimizing pricing, billing, cost management, and fraud detection
  • Reduced go-to-market time for new cloud products by 83%—from an average of 23 weeks to 4 weeks—by devising and implementing an innovative program with new processes and technologies to accelerate go-to-market activities
  • Unlocked $55Bn in revenue (over 10 years) by defining and building an ML pricing automation service, empowering AWS to fulfill its highest value government and enterprise contracts 20x faster while ensuring full compliance with government pricing regulations and enterprise contractual obligations
  • Leads a high-performing global cross-functional team of 150, in aggregate, by building bridges and eliminating information gaps to grow, develop, and empower diverse technical and product leaders throughout AWS
  • Boosted customer satisfaction from 15% to 75% in under two years by transforming the customer experience of AWS’s financial software platform and customer-facing APIs
  • Continuously improves AWS’s business relationships by demonstrating rapid prototypes to meet the reliability and scalability needs of AWS’s largest enterprise customers, including Apple, Netflix, and Stripe, amongst several others
